Things I am listening to lately include:
Gloss Drop by Battles
I always sort of figured these guys were a one album band; it was only a hunch. I hunched wrong wrong wrong, and this is so so good. They were absolutely relentless live. I would recommend above everything.

One constant bass beat flows some catchy pop songs into a continuously listenable EP; four songs have never fit together better.
