Things I am listening to lately include:

• Gloss Drop by Battles
  I always sort of figured these guys were a one album band; it was only a hunch. I hunched wrong wrong wrong, and this is so so good. They were absolutely relentless live. I would recommend above everything.
• s/t by Triceracorn
  Beige and IG88 got together and did some raps and beats. It’s a good collaboration.
• Blueberry Boat by The Fiery Furnaces
  I am 6 years behind again but what is this I don’t even. It’s good; it’s a little odd and it’s off kilter. You will like it.
• Dirty Radio by Sallie Ford & The Sound Outside
  Hey it’s Portland local! It’s a bit of a classic pop-rock swagger with a light burlesque feel. I didn’t like it the first time, no no, but we’re friends now.
• My So-Called Life by Venetian Snares
  That’s some glitchy IDM folks. You can’t listen and be calm, not at all.

See now that wasn’t so hard.
