Here’s what I’m listening to. I keep promising to do this more regularly…
- Soultronic EP by Bad Lamps
One constant bass beat flows some catchy pop songs into a continuously listenable EP; four songs have never fit together better. - Pop Music / False B-Sides by Baths
Nicely varied indie electro-pop. Some really gorgeous arrangement that’s good for active or passive listening. It’s my favorite minecraft music. - Secret Handshakes by Tub Ring
Given to me over a year ago by a friend. A true procrastinator, I just got around to listening: it is good. Memorable rock hooks mixed with some clever experimentation and electronic dazzlings. Good for car screaming. - s/t by Slunk Bunsen & Gother Brown
Old folk ramblin’ in the most true sense. This is a friend of mine, and I just noticed the link is still available. Download now! - Imperfection by Ed Askew
Lo-fi folky folk. Pleasant banjo listening.
Let’s all have a good time now.

here’s what I’m listening to this week:
- Saddle Up by Quiet Hooves
This is one of the most maddeningly catchy things I’ve heard in a while! Classification: baroque indie blues? electro math pop? Enjoyment from start to finish. - Sebastien Grainger & The Mountains by Sebastien Grainger
Some straight rockin’ tunes from the singer/drummer of Death From Above 1979, so you know it’s worth a listen. I apparently missed this a few years ago, but maybe you did too. - The Future Crayon by Broadcast
Hmm… this one varies quite a bit, but if you’re into electronic anything you’ll like it. This is a now defunct (I think) UK outfit that I missed from some years back, “The Future Crayon” is a compilation album. - Helplessness Blues by Fleet Foxes
If you’re in the mood for some good folk, just listen to this and forget about it. I think this one releases in May; know I’ll be buying. - Pacific Fog Dreams by Higuma
Seriously drone-y shoegaze. Good textures, and a nice overall sound. If this isn’t your thing, it won’t win you over.
Have fun, internet.
